Privacy Policy: Sebrod Video Converter

Your videos stay on your device. Sebrod Video Converter compresses and converts video entirely on your phone. Your video files are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no server that receives them.

Video and audio files
You choose which videos to open using Android's own file picker. The app can read only the files
you explicitly select. It does not scan your storage or photo library. All compression, trimming,
cropping and format conversion happens on your device. Finished videos are written to your device's
public Movies/Sebrod folder, where you control them like any other file.
Working copies are kept temporarily in the app's own storage while an export runs, and are removed when it completes. Uninstalling the app deletes anything it still holds.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store or transmit your personal information. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or crash-reporting service. Your settings, such as low memory mode and saved presets, are stored only on your device.
Advertising
The app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, AdMob may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, device and network characteristics, general location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads. This data is handled by Google, not by us, and we do not receive it.

Permissions the app requests, and why
- Internet and network state: Used only to load ads. Video processing needs no connection.
- Notifications: Used to show export progress so a long conversion can run while you use other apps.
- Foreground service: Used to keep an export running reliably until it finishes.
- Storage (Android 9 and older only): Used to save finished videos to your public Movies folder so they appear in your gallery. Android 10 and newer do not need this.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request. To remove data held on your device, delete exported videos from your Movies folder and uninstall the app. For ad-related data, use the Google link above.
